Useful information and general conditions of the Ski & Snowboard School S. Caterina Valfurva.

Terms and conditions

Class time is 55 minutes.

The payment of all services is made in advance; only the delivery to the instructor of the booking coupon allows the attendance of the lesson or course.

Lessons are non-refundable, any delays or absences are not recovered; interruptions due to illness or accident will be reimbursed only upon presentation of a medical certificate.

The prices of the lessons do not include the accident insurance so it is advisable to supplement the same during the purchase of the ski pass.

Lessons and courses are held regularly in all weather conditions; in the remote event that the meteorological situation prevents the opening of the lifts may be agreed the recovery or reimbursement of lessons not used.

The group courses are not convertible into private lessons; the lack of participation in the course for one or more days does not entitle you to refunds excluding the presentation of the medical certificate.

It is advisable to have the equipment in perfect efficiency; the use of the helmet is mandatory for children under 18 years.

Ski passes and equipment are not included and must be provided before the start of classes.

Notices to customers

The ski schools DO NOT fall into the category of "amateur sports associations" indicated by art. 90, paragraphs 17 and following of Law 289/2002.

The lessons given to children between 5 and 18 years do not give right to the deduction referred to in art. 15 paragraph 1, letter i quinquies d.p.r. n. 917/86.

The Ski School is exempt from VAT and is therefore exempt from the billing obligation pursuant to art. 36/bis of d.p.r. 633/1972 and subsequent amendments and additions.

The invoice is issued only at the express request of the customer to be shown at the time of booking.

Privacy

Pursuant to Reg. UE 679/2016 on the Protection of Personal Data We inform you that your data are processed by "Ski & Snowboard School S. Caterina Valfurva", Data Controller, in accordance with the procedures provided for by European legislation and exclusively by authorized and adequately trained personnel.

The personal data requested at the time of placing the order are collected and processed in order to meet the express requests of the Customer and will not be in any case and for any reason transferred to third parties. Scuola Sci & Snowboard S. Caterina Valfurva guarantees its customers compliance with the legislation on the processing of personal data, governed by the Privacy Code of DL 196 of 30.06.03.

Method of booking

Lessons and courses can be booked by booking online with prepayment by credit card. The ski school reserves the right to suspend the sale of online courses and lessons in case of overbooking.

Lessons and courses can also be booked by phone or e-mail: the balance of the full amount to be paid at least one week before the start of the lessons is required by:

The name indicated in the booking must also be specified in the reason for the transfer and/ or causal notes personalized payments of the online booking.

Cancellations must be communicated by phone or e-mail within 1 day from the beginning of the lessons purchased. Cancellations by e-mail are considered received after confirmation by the secretariat. Cancellation messages sent via sms/social media or left in answering machine are not allowed.

General conditions of sale online

By placing an order from the online booking on the website scuolascisantacaterina.it the Customer declares that he has read all the information provided to him during the purchase procedure, and to accept in full the general conditions and payment transcribed below. Any right of the Customer to compensation for damages or compensation is excluded, as well as any contractual or non-contractual liability for direct or indirect damages to persons and/or property caused by the non-acceptance, even partial, of an order.

Method of purchase

The correct receipt of the order is confirmed by the system by an e-mail sent to the e-mail address communicated by the Customer. This confirmation message will show the purchased service and the characteristics chosen during the purchase. It is the Customer’s responsibility to register with the correct data and to keep such data up to date by means of login credentials.

Methods of online payment

The purchase of the lesson hours is by payment by credit card. The Card transaction takes place through a Virtual Pos service of Axepta spa, through the pHey platform ! ; at no time during the purchase procedure the electronic system of the e-commerce portal and no staff member is able to know the credit card number of the Customer, which is provided by the Customer to the Secure Server of the Credit Institution on a secure and encrypted internet connection according to the current standards of the online payments market.

The total balance of the reservation is required at the time of booking.

We accept payments by bank transfer and with all credit cards except Amexco and Diners.

Currency: All amounts displayed on the school are expressed in Euro, which is the reference currency.

Right of withdrawal

Pursuant to art. 5 DL 185/1999, if the customer is a consumer, has the right to withdraw from the purchase contract for any reason, without the need to provide explanations and without any penalty.

To exercise this right, the customer must send to the Ski School S. Caterina Valfurva a communication to this effect, within 1 day from the beginning of the lessons purchased. This communication must be sent by e-mail to info@scuolascisantacaterina.it. Once received the above notice of withdrawal, Ski School S. Caterina Valfurva will provide a refund that will be made on the same means of payment used at the time of booking/ purchase.

Applicable law

The contract of sale between the Customer and Ski & Snowboard School S. Caterina Valfurva is considered concluded in Italy and regulated by Italian law. For the resolution of civil and criminal disputes arising from the conclusion of this distance selling contract, if the Customer is a consumer, the territorial jurisdiction is that of the court of reference of his municipality of residence; in all other cases, The territorial jurisdiction is exclusively that of the Court of Brescia.

Obligations of the purchaser

The purchaser will have the obligation to present the printing of the purchase order at the meeting agreed for the lesson.
